Open Access and Copyright Policy

Open Access

Emanate Publising House Ltd. (EPH) is committed to Open Access (OA) publishing for our entire stable of publications in order to facilitate the rapid development of all research areas and make scientific works available and accessible for everyone to read without financial, legal, or technical constraints. The articles on the Emanate Publising House Ltd. website are available through “Gold Open Access” and bear Creative Commons Licenses either CC BY or CC BY-NC-ND licenses that allow the articles to be immediately, freely, and permanently available online for everyone to read, download, and share.

In our model, conference organisers liaise with EPH and provide authors with details of pricing and conditions in their conference website. The author/s or their institution/funders pay an Article Publication Charge (APC) which covers the publication fee to the conference organizers while registering for a conference. The publication fee will be covered by the conference organizers. There will be no extra cost for authors for publication.

APC Waiver Policy

In order to encourage international academic participation especially from economically depressed nations and as part of our corporate social responsibility initiaitve, partial waivers are offered on a case by case basis ranging from 50% for authors from low-income nations to 25% for those from lower-middle income nations as classified by the World Bank. Corresponding authors may request these waivers upon editorial acceptance of their manuscript. For further details please refer to the journal/book series’ Author Instructions and Guidelines page.

Copyright

Copyright refers to intellectual property which is solely owned by the author/s of the scholarly work. Copyright allows the owners of a work to retain the rights of the research and decide to use and share their research however they deem fit.

Creative Commons Licenses

Creative Commons licenses facilitate the management of copyright terms that attach automatically to all creative material under copyright. Our licenses allow that material to be shared and reused under terms that are flexible and legally sound. Creative Commons offers a core suite of six copyright licenses.

CC BY

https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/

https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/legalcode

This license is the most permissive among of the other six licenses. It allows unlimited free access to and reuse of original works without the need to request for permission or pay a fee to the publisher. As long as due credit is given to the author/s, the manuscripts may be reused in any format even commercially.

CC BY-NC-ND

https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/

https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/legalcode

This license is the most restirictive one which allows for unlimited free access to and reuse of original works without the need to request for permission or pay a fee to the publisher. As long as due credit is given to the author/s, the manuscripts may be reused in any format except for commercial purposes.
