EAISS Author Guidelines

About the Guidelines: These guidelines are essential for authors preparing manuscripts for EAISS, adhering to Emanate Publishing House Ltd.'s Ethics Policy.

Manuscript Components:

  • Title page
  • Main text
  • Supplemental materials (if needed)

Formatting: Manuscripts must use the EAISS template, adhering to specific font, size, spacing, margins, and figure formats.

Submission Guidelines:

  • Ensure alignment with EAISS's Aims & Scope.
  • Manuscripts should be in English and submitted for a preliminary review.

Title Page Details:

  • Title of the paper
  • Author(s) full names and affiliations
  • Author notes
  • Conflict of Interest statement
  • Acknowledgments

Authorship and Ethical Policies:

  • Adherence to the Authorship and Ethics Policies is required.
  • Conflict of Interest: Must be declared.
  • Acknowledgments: Include funding sources and contributions.

Main Text Requirements:

  • Title: Should be concise.
  • Abstract: Summarize objectives, methods, results (150-250 words, no citations).
  • Keywords: 3-5 relevant terms.
  • Language: English only. Non-native authors should seek proofreading services.
  • Text Formatting: Double-spaced, 10 point Times New Roman.
  • Tables and Figures: Follow APA 7th Edition guidelines.

In-text Citations and References:

  • Follow APA 7th Edition.
  • Include DOIs for each reference.

Supplementary Files and Appendices:

  • Submit supplementary files separately.
  • Appendices should be cited in the main text and provided as individual files.

Ethical Compliance:

  • Check for plagiarism/self-plagiarism.
  • Ensure permissions for copyrighted materials.
  • Follow guidelines for research involving human and animal subjects.
  • Obtain participant consent where necessary.
  • Store data in recognized repositories.

Peer Review Process:

  • Manuscripts undergo a review by at least two referees.
  • Process may be single-blind or double-blind.

Authorship Criteria:

  • Significant contribution to research and manuscript preparation.
  • Drafting or revising content critically.
  • Final approval of the version to be published.
  • Disclosure of conflicts of interest.

Further Author Responsibilities:

  • Ensure originality and proper citations.
  • Disclose funding sources.
  • Update editors on related manuscripts under consideration elsewhere.
  • Correct errors promptly.

Corresponding Author Duties:

  • Provide accurate affiliation and contact details for co-authors.
  • Ensure co-author agreement on the manuscript.

Changes in Authorship:

  • Contact the editorial office for any changes post-submission.

Conflict of Interest:

  • Transparently declare any potential conflicts.
  • Undeclared conflicts can lead to manuscript rejection.

Decision Appeals:

  • Address manuscript-related complaints to the volume editor.

Additional Author Information:

  • Copyright Form & Conflict of Interest Disclaimer required.
  • Contact Author Information: Mandatory email for corresponding authors.
  • Open Access and Licensing: Articles published under the CC BY-NC-ND license.
  • Online Publication: Post-publication, articles available in various formats.
  • Each proceedings issue has an ISBN; each article gets a DOI.
