Dr. Markus Talvio, holding a PhD in Educational Psychology from the University of Helsinki (2015) and a Master of Arts in Education from the same institution (1991), boasts a career spanning over three decades in the field of education. He played a pivotal role as the inaugural faculty member of the Sharjah Education Academy and currently holds the position of Adjunct Professor at the University of Helsinki, where he previously served as a senior lecturer. Dr. Talvio brings a wealth of experience in supervising doctoral, master's, and bachelor's research projects.With an extensive publication portfolio exceeding over 30 papers, Dr. Talvio has established himself as a prominent figure in the global educational discourse. Through his consultancy firm, Training & Consulting Talvio Inc., he has delivered numerous keynote speeches and workshops worldwide, surpassing 50 workshops across more than 10 countries. Dr. Talvio seamlessly integrates his profound practical insights gained from his prior teaching experience with his diverse research methodologies, focusing on interventions in teacher training and fostering optimal student learning environments. His research interests encompass modern educational psychology, pedagogical theory, and the promotion of social and emotional learning.
