Digital Archiving and Sharing Policy

Ensuring Sustainable Access and Preservation in Accordance with Web of Science Standards

Long-term Digital Preservation

  • Collaboration with CLOCKSS: Emanate Publishing House Ltd., in partnership with a leading European Publisher, ensures the long-term preservation of digital content through the CLOCKSS archive. This partnership facilitates the safeguarding of our academic contributions for future generations, aligning with WoS standards for durable and reliable digital archiving.

Open Access and Sharing Policy

  • Promoting Broad Dissemination: Upholding our Open Access ethos, we actively support the widespread sharing of our authors' scholarly works. This includes articles and book chapters across Scholarly Collaboration Networks (SCNs) like arXiv and SocArXiv, as well as mainstream social media platforms.

Self-Archiving Policy

  • Preprint Sharing (Submitted Manuscript): Authors are encouraged to share their initial submissions, prior to peer-review and editing, within institutional repositories, on non-profit platforms, and across social media, enhancing early dissemination and accessibility.
  • Post-Review Sharing (Accepted Manuscript): Following peer review approval, authors can share the accepted manuscript on personal and institutional platforms, while acknowledging its acceptance for publication in EHASS.
  • Final Published Version (Version of Record): The sharing and archiving policies for the final version depend on the licensing agreement. With a CC BY license, authors have the freedom to share their work broadly, while a CC BY NC ND license may impose restrictions on sharing in commercial contexts or certain SCNs.

Text and Data Mining (TDM)

  • Support for Academic Growth: Consistent with our commitment to advancing academic research, we endorse Text and Data Mining activities for non-commercial purposes, aligning with the WoS’s emphasis on facilitating scholarly inquiry and innovation.

Compliance with Web of Science Standards

  • Adhering to Best Practices: Our digital archiving and sharing policies are crafted to meet the rigorous standards set by the Web of Science, ensuring our content's enduring accessibility and citation potential.
